The early 90's was a cool era for Electronic music but I was born in the late 90's, oops.

However, there is something quite thrilling about the sub bass and basic sin waves that Bleep Techno was briefly championing before it split into countless other influential sub genres, so I decided to have some fun with it and indulge in creating tracks of this style with my own personal flair.

"Blatant 90's Throwback" does have some bass and bleeps, but it also gestures towards the later rave developments through heavy sampling. There's even vague IDM vibes in here. No, I didn't actually have a real Kawai K1m synth, I had to sample from a demo snippet demonstrating it. Maybe one day I'll have a real one... (I did get a plugin later on emulating the synth).

"Decent Living" ends up being a Inner City reference because of at least one chord sample I used here. Obviously it's not a 1:1 remake but it is a callback to certain bits of music that blur those lines between House and Techno. And of course there's some delay on the chords to give off vague dub techno vibes.

I'm not super great about talking about my own stuff but this should at least give you an idea of what you, the buyer, are getting into. Have fun playing these tunes in your 90's style DJ set or whatever else you feel like.
